Glamping – what is it?

Glamping is, in short, a form of camping in luxury style. This modern accommodation trend brings a great option for plenty of travellers, because it combines the comfort of modern life with a stay in nature. That’s clear from the term itself, which comes from combining the English words glamorous and camping.

Glamping accommodation a short hop from Zadov

Pišta writes, Karel does the graft. Cestuj s batohem hasn’t been just a travel blog for a long time. We create it to bring adventurers a piece of the world and the adventures we experience on the road. Besides written articles, we also wanted to create an unusual experience for you. If you like nature, travel and quiet, read on 🙂

In the heart of Šumava, Karel and his wife gave new life to an originally derelict shepherd’s hut, turning it from a rusted chassis into experiential accommodation in a divine spot. Just look at the sunrise you’ll get from the hut – what do you say to that?

Luxury accommodation for everyone

Glamping accommodation is increasingly popular, and the prices of this kind of stay reflect it. That’s exactly what Karel and Jíťa wanted to push back against, so you can enjoy a night with everything the hut and its surroundings offer for 2,500 CZK.

For our readers we have a special PROMO discount of 10 % on the whole booking with the code “CSB“. Once you’ve chosen your dates on the Maringotka Nouzovka website, write “CSB” in the notes on the booking form and the discount will be deducted manually from the total price once the booking is complete.

What the hut has

A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, a comfortable hotel bed you can lounge in from morning till night, running drinking water, hot water in the shower, a flushing toilet, a stove to keep warm, outdoor furniture (chairs and a table) and an outdoor fire pit. Oh, and sticks for toasting are a given!

Repetition is the mother of wisdom, so let’s sum it all up. Karel and Jíťa simply built a glamping paradise in the heart of Šumava, a short hop from Zadov. They kitted the accommodation out from A to Z so everyone feels as comfortable as possible, and now they’d like to show it to the world.

And because Cestuj s batohem is mainly about travelling and, with advancing years, about travelling comfort too, the Nouzovka hut is just the ticket.

On top of that we now have a 10 % discount on the whole stay for our readers (that’s you, right now). Just write “CSB” in the notes when booking and the final price will be adjusted.
